Luccarelli's 2023 Primitivo Zinfandel is made from Primitivo grapes grown in the Salento region of Puglia, Italy. These grapes come from vines between 15 and 30 years old, grown in red soil rich in iron oxides on a layer of calcareous rock.

The grapes are de-stemmed and crushed before undergoing maceration at controlled temperature for 8-10 days with regular pumping overs. After draining off, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. This lush and fruity red is best enjoyed while young.
